About the adventure
Flirt wildly! Fight for liberation and justice! And finally kiss, in a dangerous situation! You are one of the elite Heavenblades - chosen protectors of Earth. You have been given the power to enter a world beyond our own, known as the Aria, to fight the minions of Nightborne. But this time you know the Hellsingers you are fighting. The powers of Darkness managed to recruit someone close to you, a person you love still, despite their defection. Can you convince them to give up their dark powers and return home? Or will you duel to the sounds of the Last Love Songs on Earth? This session we’ll be playing in the setting The Last Love Songs on Earth from the Advanced Lovers & Lesbians expansion. This is a setting about playing powerful magical queers who believe they can stop the apocalypse, even when the fight seems unending. Each year, everyday folx are offered the chance to join the Heavenblades, an elite force gifted with powerful magics in order to fight back those that would start the apocalypse. Whether it’s your first year, or your fifth, this year feels different, it feels like Destiny is playing a cruel joke as you enter the Aria to defend your Citadel. An equal number of Hellsingers and Heavenblades arriving to battle is business as usual. But this time Every. Single. Hellsinger is directly connected to at one of the Heavenblades on your team, including you. - Who is this person to you? Ex-lover? Sibling? Best friend? - What came between you? Is that what sent them to the darkside? - How long have you been with the Heavenblades? Were you a Heavenblade or a Hellsinger in a past incarnation? - What hope do you hold on to when things seem the darkest? What strengthens your resolve no matter how dire the circumstances? About me
Picture it - 1986. 5 children sit around a table while an adult teaches them to play D&D. One small, blonde girl rolls an oddly shaped die and the number facing up is a 20. The children cheer! That little girl wasn't me, it was my little sister. But even though that moment wasn't about my character it has stuck with me all these years. That is the power of role playing games. I played AD&D 2e until my early 20's when life just got too busy and friends drifted apart. I came back to the hobby like many others, after watching many hours of Actual Plays during the pandemic and deciding I just HAD to play again. Since finding a DM is hard and all those hours of watching others play made me feel like I knew the rules, I felt that the only way I could play again was to be the DM. I scoured the internet for one shots and other DMs to hone my craft with. I discovered Foundry and Adventurer's League and have been learning and growing with every game. I am really happy learning new systems and styles and always grab the opportunity to learn, play in or run new RPGs!

Creating your character
This game is based on the Powered by the Apocalypse game engine and playbooks will be chosen at the start of the game. I have a quick start guide and descriptions of the playbooks on my Discord Server. There can only be one player of each playbook per session.
If you are ready for a game that's narrative driven where getting smitten, giving emotional support and kissing in a dangerous situation aren't just encouraged but GAME MECHANICS, have I got the game for you!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Join my Discord and look over the rules! Chat with other players about what kind of world you want to play in and which playbooks speak to you before we start so our time at the table will be mostly spent creating drama! No experience is necessary, there are guides in the Discord server and myself and some of the other experienced players in my server will be happy to help guide your character creation. We will use Discord for voice, a headset is preferable over speakers. A decent microphone. It is polite to minimize background noise as much as possible while on mic. I will be using a web cam to add to the fun, however players are not obligated to be on camera. I do find it brings a little bit of that table feel to an online game.

If this game were a movie, it would be rated PG13. Regardless of the world you choose to play in there will be some form of Fighting the Man™️, Flirting & Romance, and dealing with emotions. You do not need to identify as a lesbian or even as a woman to play and enjoy this game. You do need to respect others, no matter their gender identity, race, class, abilities, body types, etc.
