About the adventure

This Vampire the Masquerade (5th edition) campaign starts in Colonial America where you'll potentially participate in the World of Darkness version of such events as the Salem Witch Trials and the Boston Massacre. In time, we'll fast forward to the 19th century and Boston's Gilded Age of art, literature, and commerce. Eventually, we'll be telling stories in the 20th and 21st century starring your player characters as vampire elders who are 400 years old! Pre-generated characters are available or you can make your own 8th generation newly-embraced Camarilla vampire. HMU on Discord (Norker#9509) for suggestions on designing vampires appropriate to New England in the 1600s. Queer and non-white characters are welcome. No Tremere, please. This campaign will follow the Humanist tenants. These aren't rules your character has to follow, but breaking them can lead to a loss of humanity. When that kicks in, your vampire acquires a creepy vibe and a penalty on social interactions. ■ Don't kill except in self-defense ■ Don't torture ■ Don't harm innocent people This sandbox campaign won't necessarily focus on combat or even "adventures," initially. Instead, you'll get time to prey on villagers, abuse your powers, and roleplay other vampires stuff. Yes, you might have to fight a mage or werewolf eventually, but that's the sort of thing a vampire avoids if they want to live hundreds of years. In this story, your vampire's struggle to maintain their humanity is the central conflict. Want to throw your humanity out the window and surrender to the Beast? No problem, that's fun Storytelling too!
