About the adventure
The caravan’s wheels, eight oaken circles divided among two covered wagons, have been keeping up nicely with the poor conditions of the road, as have your two horses. The trip up until now has been peaceful, running south from Ban Ard along the base of the Blue Mountains, the ultimate destination of Afon Mynydd now only a half day away. At the bequest of Vargus Bartok, the dwarven merchant leading your trip, the caravan pulls just out of the sight of the road among the trees and you begin to set up camp for the night. Secret of the Elven Gold is designed to work with the rules presented in The Witcher Easy Mode, a free introduction to The Witcher TRPG available from DriveThruRPG. In this adventure you will play one of 4-6 adventurers escorting a caravan from Ban Ard to Afon Myandd. Reports of Bandits and a long lost Elven Ruin hiding in the mountains has made travel in the area dangerous. Will your party successfully defeat the trials of the mountain or succumb to an icy death?

How to prepare
Webcam preferred and mic required. Will have a "session 0" in the first 30 minutes of the game to get acquainted to the character sheets and rules.

Gameplay details
The Witcher is a gritty setting full of adult themes (drugs, weapons, sex, ect). X,N,O cards are in play. I have VERY strict lines around sensitive content that we will be adhering to. - NO racism, sexism, and anti semitism will be tolerated. - NO blatant or allusions to sexual assault, child or animal abuse will be tolerated either. We will discuss LINES vs. VEILS prior to play. (can do so privately) A line is a hard limit and indicates the topics we don’t want to explore in our game. A veil is a “pan away” or “fade to black” moment. When we veil something, we’re making it a part of the story, but keeping it out of the spotlight. Think of it as a way to still deal with certain themes while avoiding having to describe them in graphic detail.

How will character creation work
Pre-generated character sheets will be provided as part of the "Easy Mode" Witcher rules. This setting and adventure is meant to be an introduction into The Witcher ttrpg by simplifying some of the rules. Though, the story is fun and as a long time player of The Witcher I still found it very enjoyable to go back to the basics!
