About the adventure

It is the Hyborian Age, a time of swords and sorcery. Your group is hired to find lost pages from the evil tome known as the Book of Skelos. You race against the forces of evil king Pendrys of Brythunia, who wants to use the pages to turn anyone with a more valid claim for the throne into a goat. Will you find the lost pages of the Book of Skelos first or drown in the priest pool? I like to play fast and loose, enjoying story over mechanics. I'm a big fan of the pulp style of Robert E Howard and seek to recreate that in my games. We will use the 2d20 Conan Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of. There are youtube videos from Modiphius showing this game being played. I'm not as concerned with people knowing the rules as I am they have a basic knowledge of the Conan stories and feel of the setting.

How to prepare

I recommend a mic and headset combo to eliminate background noise. That will enhance everyone's enjoyment. Take a look at the pregens and select one before the game. If you have time pick up a Conan short story and refresh yourself with this amazing setting. If you have lots of time watch an ap from Modiphius of this system.

What I provide

I will provide the pregens and the roll20 space complete with battle maps. Since most of my stories are interconnected, as far as my Conan adventures are concerned, I'll provide a summary of the story thusfar to minimize confusion over NPCs and recurring characters.

Gameplay details

The game uses sword and sorcery violence. There will be combat with oversized animals and a lot of skittering creatures.

How will character creation work

There are ten pregens you can choose from available in the Journal of my Roll20 page. Choose the characters you want to play and share it with the rest of the group on the Discord server. I have most of the sourcebooks and used them all to create a wide variety of characters, balanced as far as gender goes.
