About the adventure
North of the Spine of the World and west of the towering Reghed Glacier lies Icewind Dale, a frigid expanse few dare to explore, let alone inhabit. This icy land of windswept tundra recently became locked in a perpetual, dark winter without reprieve. Auril the Frostmaiden, the divine embodiment of winter’s fury, dominated the land with a terrible spell to the detriment of most of its denizens. Konrad's Comrades prevailed over her evil followers, slew the Frostmaiden in fierce combat, and have risen to become one of the greatest adventuring parties of all time! Victorious over Auril, our adventures have taken us to Waterdeep, cosmopolitan heart of the Sword Coast.
Currently 17th level - a relaxed, combat-oriented group looking to welcome one new adventurer to complete a fun party! Our style is epic storytelling and team roleplay rather than min-maxing or power-gaming. Looking forward to getting to know you and introducing other members of the group before play!

How to prepare
Please have a webcam, headphones, and microphone. Player dice rolls will be over D&D Beyond. Please have a created and approved character (per above) and either basic familiarity with or a learning mindset for the rules.
What I provide
I will share a D&D Beyond link for character creation, a Discord for voice and video chat, an Owlbear Rodeo link for the virtual tabletop, and art as we explore the setting and meet NPCs.
Gameplay details
The group is tight-knit but very friendly and welcoming of new players! We have a tilt toward combat (usually one combat encounter per session), but we also enjoy opportunities for roleplay, exploration, mystery, and the occasional puzzle.
