But there are some who want to shine a light on all the corruption and grime, in the hope of maybe cleaning the place up a little. If only maybe a little. Hack Rolston is one such man, a Media Edgerunner determined to expose those who would exploit the weak and vulnerable, and pressure the authorities to stop turning a blind eye to the grime under their feet. Now he thinks he might have one hell of a story, but he needs your help to dig it out of the dirt and reveal the truth. Will you be able to shine a light in the darkness, or just end up disappearing into the shadows. A Cyberpunk Red dark and dingy Mystery. An introduction game for anyone wanting to give Cyberpunk Red a try. No previous game experience needed [in Cyberpunk 2020 or any other ttrpg] just climb on board and I’ll have you causing your own kind of nitro fuelled mayhem in no time. Cyberpunk Red is a pretty easy system to grasp, but it is pretty deadly, so learn to use cover as you try to mow down enemies with a hail of SMG fire.

How to prepare

If you can choose a pre-Gen, or prepare an original character beforehand, that would be helpful. If you are completely new to Cyberpunk, [or just cyberpunk Red] let me know and I will give at least a rough overview prior to play. I am more than happy to help new players acclimatise. That said if you just turn up…I’ll get you up and running fast so don’t worry. ;D

What I provide

I am bringing the complete Cyberpunk Red game, and will provide players with pdf handouts of background material. Plus literally years of experience in the cyberpunk game setting.

Gameplay details

This is a gritty dark future game, and as such deals with some violent, dark, unpleasant, and [sometimes] visceral content. Please feel free to discuss what you as a player will and will not be comfortable with prior to play [or after a session]. This campaign will deal with adult themes, some of which will be violent or sexual in nature. With this in mind, I don’t expect any real-world bigotry or prejudice to play out in my games sessions. Please be considerate of others.

How will character creation work

I will provide a selection of pre-generated characters for those who want them. Otherwise I can provide help with character creation, and if appropriate will run a session zero with the party. Please feel free to contact me in advance in this regard. If you start with a pregenerated character, but then wish to change to a character of your own making, I will, of course, be able to accommodate this as well. The intention is for this to involve investigation and subterfuge as well as action investigation so please keep that in mind when creating your character. I also strongly recommend looking at the Cyberpunk Red Companion app [especially for character generation]
