    About the adventure

You have been hired by the fortress city of Bastion! A dragon has been spotted on the outskirts of the city and it is your job to defeat it. The city has placed a great amount of faith in you, do not fail them. This adventure is a child and beginner friendly dungeon crawl with opportunities for role-play sprinkled throughout. When you book this game, I will confirm the rough experience of the players. If they are beginners, I may schedule a session zero to set expectations, and to start with a short but simple explanation of the basic rules. Characters will be pre-made and created by me, however, they are flexible in case you want to be something else! Players should be around 8-12 years old when they join. Parents are more than welcome to participate or supervise as necessary.

    How to prepare

Ensure that you have a method of communicating through voice, whether it is the built in speakers and microphones of a laptop or even a phone. Other than that, players will need an account Roll20 account and Zoom, Google Hangouts or Discord.

    What I provide

I will bring basically everything else to play the game, including rules, maps and character sheets.

    Gameplay details

This game will consist of slaying monsters. Since this is a child-friendly game, my descriptions of attacks will be tailored for children and will not go into any graphic details of gore or violence. However, there may be some simple moral dilemmas that I may present the players, however, it is generally less intense than my typical games and I am hoping to use it a teaching moment about empathy and mercy.
