About the adventure

Looking to try D&D online? This will be a great start adventure. I've introduced hundreds of people to D&D and I hope you might be next! A single two-hour 'one-shot' adventure for level 2 characters. 🧝 Join a group of adventurers hired by a wizard for one last job 🧙 A fun, frantic adventure raid on a goblin-overrun bakery 🪙 Find the recipe, by any means necessary 🗺️ The perfect one-shot to fill up a fun couple of hours This is a light-hearted and fun adventure for heroes of all ages and experience levels! Should take a single session to get through - lots of opportunities for roleplay and/or combat, though all the combat situations are avoidable by stealth, deception, running away, etc. "When the ancient wizard Tyndareus develops a craving for a special treat from his childhood, he will stop at nothing to get his hands on the best apple pie in the whole world. He hires a group of adventurers to seek out the bakery that once produced the wonderful dessert – unfortunately for them, the bakery has long since been overrun by goblins. But all is not as it seems at Grammy’s Bakery, and Tyndareus isn’t the only one who’d do anything for those pies." --- This will be a one-shot based on "Grammy’s Country Apple Pie" by Jennifer Adcock. Characters start at level 2 - great for beginners. Can't wait for you to join.

What I provide

Gameplay details

The game will focus on Exploration and Roleplay - I'd like to make sure every player has a chance to find and express something unique about their character. I expect combat to be lively, fast and narrative. The most important thing for me is that we all have fun telling a memorable story together. To begin with, we'll quickly go over the safety tools and check consent. Then we'll start on discord voice with a sharing of the Owlbear Rodeo link for maps and to check we're all set up with D&D Beyond. We'll have a 15 minute break somewhere in the middle but it's a-ok if anyone needs to step away briefly for any reason.

How will character creation work

I have some pre-generated characters for this game. My aim is to make it as beginner friendly as possible so you're welcome to bring your own characters but check with me if you need to go beyond the Players Handbook content.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
