About the adventure

Welcome to the world of the Forest Friends: A short lived Saturday Morning cartoon that literally nobody remembers. Anthropomorphic animal adventurers work together to protect the forest and beyond with the power of friendship and also the laser gun they found. This is an adaptation of content in the Humblewood and Spelljammers sourcebooks, creating a ridiculous world that could only exist in the framing device of a self-aware toyetic TV show from the 1980s. If you've ever wanted to take your fursona on an episodic adventure, this is the place!

How to prepare

Voice chat happens on Discord, so make sure you have that installed and ready to go. If you have your own character portrait, bring it along as well so we can create an in game token for them.

What I provide

I run a cloud hosted Foundry server set up with all the content we need to create characters and play the game. This includes theater of the mind scenery, battlemaps and creature artwork, and a score of nostalgic Overclocked ReMix playlists.

Gameplay details

This should be a low stakes, fun campaign with little in the way of triggers or stressors. I'll be open to player feedback along the way and aim to maintain an inclusive table.

How will character creation work

During session zero we'll use the character creation options in the Humblewood campaign setting to create your level one Forest Friend. Classes and Subclasses can come from any of the core D&D books, all of which will be on hand for reference within the Foundry world. Characters will level up at the end of each 'episode' in the campaign.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
